The campus sits at 4110 N. Cole St., on the American Township and Sugar Creek Township line north of Lima. Ohio EPA files it as Facility 0302022054rec . The stormwater permit applicationrec declares a parcel of 335 acres, of which 195 acres will be developed and 115 acres will be permanently impervious. That impervious figure is the one the stormwater chapter later routes downstream.

Eleven recorded parcels carry the name Bistrozzi LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. Bistrozzi is the grantee on the corridor deeds — among them a limited warranty deed recorded 2025-08-13rec — and the applicant on the Ohio EPA permits. Google is the developer of record. Construction is under way.

What the permits state, and what they withhold

Ohio EPA issued the final air permit-to-install, P0138965rec , on 2026-05-28. It authorizes 114 backup generators, one per data hall, and 36 cooling towers. Those two counts are the project’s most useful public numbers, because each one scales.

The generator count does not, by itself, give a backup capacity. That needs the rating of a single engine, and the issued permit does not print it. Ohio EPA granted the applicant a trade-secret withholding under OAC 3745-49-03rec on 2025-10-08, and the rating came out of the final document. The draft public noticerec had already published it at about 2,750 electrical kilowatts per engine. The study therefore reports roughly 313 MW of backup as the final permit’s unit count multiplied by the draft’s per-engine rating. It is not a figure the issued permit states.

The cooling archetype follows the same pattern. Thirty-six cooling towersinput imply an evaporative plant, which is the archetype every water chapter is screened against. The cooling-system flow rates are withheld as confidential business information. So the archetype is asserted from the tower count, not disclosed by the operator, and every water figure downstream inherits that qualification.

Four fields a project description normally states
